Introduce software and hardware that can be used to assist people with disabilities in computer use. Focus is on solutions for upper extremity, mobility, cognitive, auditory and vision issues.
The focus of this session is to teach the class about the best and latest assistive technology devices that are available for people with vision, upper extremity, mobility, cognitive and auditory issues. The session is broken out in these categories. The training is geared for people who do not have alot of experience with assistive technology and gives them a introduction on the array of equipment and potential that the equipment has on helping people overcome employment barriers.
