Debbie Gowens, Office Support Specialist

Debbie has been with Solutions Northwest for 2 years, bringing over 35 years of administrative assistance and accounting experience. Debbie assists with the daily business office operations including the client database and client files. Past work experience has been in the aerospace field and K-12 education. Debbie exhibits enthusiasm and teamwork while assisting our staff. Together, we strive to provide excellent service to our clients.

Christina Koshney, BA, CDMS – Vocational Consultant

Christina is a Pacific Northwest, Seattle area, native.  She has been working in Vocational Consulting for the past two years helping people navigate a challenging circumstance while maintaining a positive outlook.  Previously, she spent 7 years doing not-for-profit work, working with a diverse people, including foster youth who sought to affect change for the better in the foster care system with legislative advocacy. She spent about 10 years working in mental health and drug and alcohol rehabilitation services, both inpatient and outpatient, assisting in the intake process and coordination throughout their care.  She also taught the alcohol drug information school for those who were court recommended to take the class.  She has enjoyed helping people to see a better future. She is very excited to be a part of the Solutions Northwest team of awesome people helping people.

Kendra Lynch, MA, CRC, CDMS – Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant

Kendra has experience working with injured workers in Washington State since 2014 and became a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant as well as a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) in 2018, and earned her Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) certification in 2023.

Kendra graduated from Saint Martin’s University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. In 2023, Kendra graduated from Western Washington University with a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling. Prior to working as a Vocational Consultant, Kendra worked as a Claims Adjudicator for the Department of Labor and Industries, where she first developed a passion for assisting Injured Workers. Kendra also has experience counseling incarcerated youth at Green Hill School, a state-owned maximum security juvenile facility. This combination of experience and education has given Kendra the necessary skills for success with complex populations within the worker’s compensation industry.

Catherine Gavin, MA, CRC – Vocational Consultant

Catherine Gavin, MA, CRC – Vocational Consultant – Catherine became a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) in 2022. 

Catherine graduated from University of Arizona in 2020 with a dual-degree Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology. In 2022, Catherine earned her Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Mental Health and Rehabilitation from the University of Arizona. Prior to her work as a Vocational Consultant, Catherine also provided mental health counseling to adults and youth, behavioral support for children with Autism, and job coaching and development for adults with developmental disabilities. Through counseling and working with individuals with disabilities, Catherine has developed an understanding of individual’s differing needs when it comes to mental and vocational health. She provides vocational assistance with empathy and compassion for workers and is dedicated to making sure workers return and remain at work safely.
