John DeLapp, MS, CRC, ARM – Co-Founder
John DeLapp, MS, CRC, ARM — Co-Founder. John provided vocational counseling and consultation services beginning in 1984 and co-founded Solutions Northwest, Inc. with his partner, and wife, Janet DeLapp, MS, CDMS, CPDM, CPE, in 1998.
John completed his Master’s degree in 1981 and following four years of providing mental health counseling services began working with industrially injured workers. In 1986, John obtained national certification as a vocational counselor from the Commission on Certified Rehabilitation Counseling and has maintained this credential in good standing since that time.
In 1998 John began expanding his practice into vocational consultations and forensics. Shortly thereafter, John obtained his Associate of Risk Management credential from the Insurance Institute of America in the year 2000. This achievement was to better understand risk management generally and the role vocational consultants can play in loss control specifically. John’s practice evolved into having an emphasis on consultation services and forensic testimony primarily involving complex Washington workers compensation claims and vocation matters relative to family law. This work involved vocational assessments and expert witness testimony involving employability and earning capacity issues.
Presently, John retains a consultative role with Solutions Northwest, Inc. consultants but has retired from active practice.
